Carotech Mali makes cement-based tiles and, in particular, paving slabs designed for gardens, terraces and  sidewalks.  It uses a non-kiln manufacturing process, in a country where energy prices are extremely high.

The company is benefiting from strong growth in the construction industry, driven by the development of urban population centres, in particular Bamako. Its sales revenue doubled in 2009  and net earnings rose 65%.

In parallel, the comapny, still at an early stage of its development, is continuing to strengthen its management and structures.
