Follow up and mentoring

Beyond providing equity and quasi-equity, I&P intends to become a genuine, long-term partner of its adopted institutions. The roles that it can play in this partnership include:

• upstream of the investment, help in preparing a real development strategy, expressed in the form of a development plan;
• management mentoring, and strategic guidance of the institution, if possible with support from the project's founding operator;
• reinforcement of its capacity to obtain, organise and structure its financing, and thus to manage its growth .

This approach is intended to be instructive and constructive, respectful of the mission of the MFI, and set in the framework of a long-term commitment.
